In the 1980s I organized rock concerts and played the era’s indie soundtrack on Swiss radio station DRS3. After the end of history I visited prisons for the ICRC in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and Iraq; I presented the news, cultural reports, I hosted a talk show about cinema on Swiss National Television and – back on the radio – I hosted the «Persönlich» talk format on SRF1. While working with the Swiss National Exposition Expo.02 I invited seven wise souls from less well-off countries to hold a mirror up to Switzerland.
Alas, not even in my last job as head of communications at Alliance Sud and editor of the magazine «global», published in German and French, did I succeed in saving the world.
